Just when I supress the urge to change from PC to Mac, Apple go and release something to ignite my desire!

So what's new?

Big, beautiful displays.

27-inch display!

The new iMac has come a long way from the first 15-inch iMac. Take one look and you’ll see just how far. A 21.5-inch or 27-inch display with edge-to-edge glass covers nearly the entire front of the enclosure. When all you see is the display, nothing gets between you and what’s onscreen. Movies, TV shows, websites, photos — everything looks stunning on the new 16:9 widescreen iMac display.

The world’s first Multi-Touch mouse.

Wireless Magic Mouse.

Forget the mouse as you know it. Every iMac comes with the wireless Magic Mouse: the world’s first Multi-Touch mouse. Use it once and you’ll wonder how you ever used anything else. There’s no scroll ball, no clunky wheel, no cord and no visible button.

Instead, Magic Mouse uses Multi-Touch technology to let you control everything with simple gestures. Give them a try and you’ll find that Magic Mouse changes the way you interact with your computer. Built-in software lets you configure Magic Mouse any way you want. Its smooth, seamless design is ambidextrous and it supports two-button clicking — without buttons. Like magic.

Faster processors.

Quad-core power.

The available quad-core Intel Core i5 or Core i7 “Nehalem” processor in the 27-inch iMac puts four processing cores on one die, so data doesn’t have to travel far to get from core to core. This boosts application performance up to 2x over the previous-generation iMac.1 And unlike systems that connect memory to the processor through a separate controller, these quad-core processors connect memory directly to the processor, improving memory bandwidth up to 2.5x.2

Mayonnaise Jar and 2 Cups of Coffee

I just came across this story on the Total Wellbeing Blog and thought Id share.

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 Hours in a day is not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and 2 cups of coffee.

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.

Client Spotlight: That Aussie Game Site

The boys at That Aussie Game Site sure do like their games and it shows. The Australian market lacked a high quality, informative site for the gaming community but not anymore.

While the site is in it's early stages, the guys are busy writing articles and reviews, creating a competitive, yet friendly online community and above all, having fun while they do it.

IKEA Catalogue 2009 - Out Now!

Thank goodness because I think Ive almost managed to buy one of everything from the 2008 catalogue!

I really am addicted to IKEA (I shop there about twice a month and my home is a shrine to the Swedish Gods) and not surprisingly, their latest catalogue doesn't disappoint.

Make sure you grab a copy in-store or browse online at www.ikea.com

There's even a couple of pages dedicated to 'Small Business, Big Ideas' but I'm sure you'll find loads of inspiration for your office or workplace amongst the 376 pages of delectable IKEA goodness.
